A teenager has been arrested and charged following a spate of housebreakings in Duloch, Dunfermline, Rosyth in Fife; and in Stirling.
Between 31st January and 24th February, six properties in Wayfarers Drive, Dover Park, Peasehill Road, Peasehill Gait, Blackwood Way and Grampian Court were all broken into and various items of property stolen.
A seventh address in Caltrop Place, Stirling was also targeted between Thursday 9th and Friday 10th February and inquiries by officers in Fife confirmed this incident was linked to the Dunfermline and Rosyth offences.
Following an investigation by Dunfermline CID, a 17-year-old male was subsequently arrested and charged and was to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court in due course.
Detective Constable Conrad Musgrave from Dunfermline CID said: “We treat all reports of housebreaking with the utmost seriousness and will use all resources at our disposal to identify those responsible for crimes of this nature and bring them to justice.
