Residents of Guardbridge, St Andrews were left in shock after a heavy goods vehicle ploughed into parked cars before coming to a halt in a garden.
The lorry careered along Cupar Road crashing into four parked cars and knocking down a garden wall.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the crash which happened at around 10.30am on Saturday, 14 January.
Thankfully, no-one was seriously injured however one person was reported as being injured, said the emergency services.
Shocked resident Susan Gay lost her car in the shocking incident. Her car was completely destroyed and she said on Twitter: “Lorry careered across the road taking out several cars and walls. Guess whose motor bore the brunt?”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1030 hours, police received a report of a road collision involving an HGV and four parked cars in Cupar Road, Guardbridge, St Andrews.”
Police said an inquiry was ongoing.
