Members of the South West Fife Area Committee have been updated on the work being carried out to upgrade the Synthetic Turf Pitch at the former Fleet Grounds in Rosyth.
The works have seen the previous surface and shockpad removed and the installation of a new 3G Synthetic Turf pitch over a new shockpad.
Work has also included repairs to flood lighting and fences.
Additional works will improve the access to the pavilion for people with disabilities.
It is anticipated that the facility will be handed over to South West Fife Community Sports Partnership (SWFCSP) at the end of March.
SWFCSP will take on the lease and operation of the changing pavilion, playing fields and carpark at the fleet grounds.
There are currently 26 groups that have registered an interest of using the pitch.
